Tier 2 support will be provided in addition to some Tier 1 support efforts; serves as a member of the Information Technology Security Team and the On-call Rotation team; performs other duties as assigned.
Work is conducted under the supervision of the Information Technology Security Manager.
Some travel within the County may be required to perform duties.
This position is not eligible for a regular flex schedule as outlined in the Moore County Personnel Policy.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Comprehensive knowledge of the technical terminology used in computer operations and of the various hardware, software, and accessory peripherals utilized in a networked system Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office applications and various operating systems and applications Understanding of mobile devices and mobile device management solutions Understanding of departmental service level agreements Ability to communicate effectively through speech and writing Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships departmental personnel, associates across the entire organization, vendors, and the general public Ability to work efficiently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects and to prepare and maintain detailed procedures, documentation, and instructions Ability to work some during weekends or off-hours for support, emergency incidents, and special projects EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or equivalent from an appropriately accredited institution and five (5) years of progressive work experience OR Associate Degree from an appropriately accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and three (3) years of progressive work experience OR Bachelor's Degree from an appropriately accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and one (1) year of progressive work experience TO APPLY Please submit your application online at www.
