Vehicle Description This 1959 Chevy Biscayne is not only stunning to look at and has plenty of power, but has a great story to tell.
It was purchased by a pastor who works as a chaplain for the National Hot Rod Association.
While living in California, he picked up the rust-free car in 2001 after it had been in storage for 20 years.
The frame off restoration was completed by Best of Show Coachworks in California.
The goal was to keep it old-school looking but to do a complete restoration.
The 409 cubic inch 380 horsepower engine was completely rebuilt and today has less than 1,000 miles.
The 700 R4 transmission and 9 inch ford rear complete the drive line.
Wheels are Billet Specialities and tires are 255/17 front 275/17 rear.
Paint is done in a two-tone Plymouth Prowler Orange color with white trunk.
Along with all new chrome are the air brushed accents on the body.
The interior is all new and done in 1959 style with Classic Instrument Gauges.
This car was featured in Super Chevy Magazine in September 2016 and has won a closet full of trophies.
All receipts and documentation total to over $100,000 invested.
This car is a get in, start driving, head turning beauty.
